Why is paying for sex such a big taboo? submitted by ArtEnt to AskVoat

In Canada our version of the Republicans even have 'Conservative' in their party name and I still didn't even interpret the word 'conservative' in that context to being political. Why does everything have to be twisted into a Dems vs Repubs argument? I think he just meant conservative in a moral or religious sense rather than a political one, but I could be wrong.

Funny how most people in power suddenly discovery their morality only after they've vacated their previously held positions. I wonder why that is...

Richard Lewis: Why theres more than meets the eye to Riots scripting ban wave submitted by Like_Wild_Potato to LeagueOfLegends

miken 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

Why should we believe anything a cheater says over what riot says?

/u/Like_Wild_Potato gave a well thought-out response to this question above. Also, the cheater didn't necessarily contradict Riot's statement, just offered further insight into how that particular ban wave came about.

According to this, riot employees are either retarded and don't know how teamspeak works or they offer jobs at riot through teamspeak with multiple other parties present. This is fucking stupid.

You misread. The Rioter didn't offer a job, the programmer offered to change their program in exchange for a job.

It's very unlikely that riot's anti-cheat is working client-side and reports it's findings back to server. From what I have seen, riot analyzes the packets server-side to detect unusual/impossible patterns for a human.

It wasn't written very well, but you may have misread again, because I think your statement agrees with their statement. AFAIK the cheat programs attempt to hide their shenanigans, but in this case the packets that go to the server during regular game-play were modified to trigger the anti-cheat, rather than subvert it as they usually would.

Dana White: Aldo should have been wearing rib protection submitted by Meggoca to MMA

I agree that a lot of fighters train really dumb and suffer unnecessary injuries as a result, but Dana White is a disrespectful asshole and mishandled this incident terribly (which he seems to be doing more and more as the years go by). I like both fighters a lot, but I kinda want Aldo to beat McGreggor just to deflate the dollar-sign induced hard-on he has for Connor becoming champ.

I started as Bronze as well and my goal was always Gold to get those juicy free skins at the end of every season. The thing that helped me the most was keeping logs. After each ranked game, win or lose, 20-0 or 0-20, I would write down all the mistakes that I remembered making. After a while I notice patterns in things I keep doing wrong every game, which I then tried to stop repeating.

For me it was things like trading kills 1 for 1 when I was already ahead, overstaying after a kill or turret to get more cs or an inhib and then dying to reinforcements rather than just taking the small victory and backing out, pushing too far into enemy territory without wards, buying wards and forgetting to place them, placing wards but forgetting to watch the minimap.

My mechanics didn't get any better between bronze to gold, just fixing a number of small decision making mistakes one by one added up to make a big difference in my ability to win games. imaqtpie always says LoL is a decision making game, and I agree with that.
