Young women always get to play the "I was afraid" card.
Why did you tell him yes? "I was afraid of him"
Why did you move his hand to your genitals? "I was afraid of him"
Why did you make plans for later? "I was afraid of him"
Did he ever show any violent tendencies or was he even particularly large and strong? "No, but I was afraid of him"
BTW with a large segment of the female populace, this isn't lying. It's a type of reinterpretation of memory to adjust it to their preferred interpretation. Everyone does this it's one of the flaws of memory, we remember what we interpret the meaning of the event to be, women just do it a LOT more.

You guys are missing the point. She had a plan and she accomplished it. She wanted their names and ID to check their records and create a paper trail that they had been in the area "acting suspicious". The escalating happened when she was faced with someone who knew he didn't have to provide ID unless suspected of being a part of an actual crime not just a potential crime.
They're all trained to ignore your constitutional rights by bullying you.
This escalated because they didn't let the female officer illegally check their criminal records.(she wanted their names and ID and they refused)
It's their standard procedure when dealing with "the usual suspects" meaning poor, uneducated, minority.
If they stop you, they'll do a record check and try to search you. They're fishing for a crime. It's illegal, unconstitutional, and EVERY ONE of them is trained to do it. But its based on if you fit the usual suspects category, if you're in a three piece suit, in a office and in the appropriate neighborhood, they won't be fishing with you.
That's what happened here, she called in reinforcements to force the search. That's it. They refused, she couldnt physically bully them into ignoring their rights, so she called in some muscle to hold them down search them and check them for a police record "for our safety"
So for all of you saying, she should have left them alone after talking to them. No, that's not what she was doing. In her world, she had the right to check their criminal record because they were being "suspicious". They refused, and she was never letting them walk away or get in a car without that record check.
Most states do require you to provide a drivers license when requested IF you are operating a motor vehicle. Because driving a car isn't a protected right. Do they use the license check to check your criminal record, yes. Are they supposed to? Nope, it's supposed to be just a check for an active license in good standing. But there's no way to stop them, so if you're driving a car yes, you have to provide a license on request.

There are actual murderers who only serve a few years.
Typical political lawmaking in action.
