Liberty is security, or at least you can create your own methods for security. Forced security is nether secure or liberating.

I used to love KDE. I want to love KDE. But KDE has become a bloated mess, with no default keyboard shortcuts (seriously, WHY DID THEY DO THAT?!?!?). XFCE is where it's at for me.

right, but there are common shortcuts that I feel everyone uses, like switching between virtual desktops, or other things that are not present.
