It will collapse in on itself within a few years I think. Just have to wait it out. All the rabid, pc shit is a circular firing squad. They have built their whole identity around attacking people so it's natural they eventually attack each other.

I've already seen some ultra liberal gawker bloggers get called out for not being pc enough by the even more extreme left and it is actually quite satisfying to see their bafflement as they are now the subject of the exact sort of witch hunt they are known for perpetrating.

Gun Control Thought submitted by lettersofmarque to Showerthoughts

The reality is that less guns would equal less shootings. This is simple logic.

Guns start out by being manufactured legally, and generally are originally sold legally. However, they get sold, lost, stolen, and eventually get filtered into the hands of dangerous people (or in the case of the reporter shooting, the gun is purchased legally through the proper channels.)

Less legal guns would mean less guns to eventually become illegal and get filtered into the hands of criminals. The real question is, do we consider the occasional psychopath shooting to be acceptable collateral damage?

It's sort of like car accidents. Many people die horribly from them constantly, but we consider that acceptable collateral damage (at least until cars can drive themselves) because, fuck it, we got places to go. Do we want our guns enough to accept higher shooting deaths by criminals? I'm personally on the fence about it. I live in NYC where we have no rights to guns anyway, so it's not like I get to own one even though I would like to.

That poor victim of abuse. Imagine, enduring downvotes like that. If only we could get some sort of shelters with free counseling to help downvote abuse victims find the strength to carry on.

True. But then he'd be fired and also in jail or some shit. Our justice system is fucked and it's not worth the risk to save a stranger.
