Aero Precision AR-15 Slick Side Stripped Upper $51.95 + Shipping submitted by spyder228 to Gundeals

because they're ugly, take up space, and unless you plan on trudging through a windy desert, or a muddy jungle, for days with no cleaning despite burning through several hundred rounds ... you're not going to see it fail to go into battery.

But if you did, it's probably still not during oh-crap-killit-killit-killIT!! combat, so you can just let the magazine down, yank back on the charging handle (but not quite so far as to let the bullet's tip out of the chamber) and let it slam home again. If it still won't close, maybe the round is out of spec, maybe you need to stop and clean your chamber from debris ... something other than jam down on the carrier in hopes it will be alright.

I've asked several experienced AR-15 users, one who was an army veteran so had official training with the m-16. They all say they've never personally used the forward assist button. So, sure it make the upper look 'milspec' but it's ugly, and also reminds every /k/ fanatic of the many mistakes made in 'Nam misinterpreting Stoner's ideals.

But if I buy it with my CC and have it shipped to my house... What's the point?

It's indirect enough they'd have to really be looking. Lots of people buy lots of things -- and it's true, in a full big-brother world, all interactions with a company that primarily sells gun parts would throw up a red flag. But whose database is that flag in? We created a whole new bureau (Homeland) just to integrate separate databases because nobody talks to anybody ... and is there any sign anybody is suddenly talking to anybody?

There are other reasons for choosing the 80% route -- satisfaction of a job well done, a sense of ownership ... not paying state sales tax ... But if big-brother paranoia is the order of the day, there are ways to get around the CC record. Show up at a gun show, cash in pocket. It's not a firearm so there's no paperwork, nobody cares about your name, you will soon have an untraceable receiver.

I bet most companies that sell these things, would accept postal money orders too. You'd have to call them, get their mailing address for such things and have them set aside the item -- write down what they say the final dollar amount is, then take that much cash, plus a little, to the post office. Tell them the address you need the money to get to, they charge postage equal to your bill, basically, and a fee for making the order and actual postage ... and sometime soon the company would get the money order. When they cash it, they can send your item out in the mail -- absolute minimum of tracking, and you didn't need to drive across state to buy it in-person from their warehouse.

Actually, you can probably buy a burner-CC from 7-eleven. Heck, buy a burner phone to go with it. Use the burner phone to 'activate' the one-use CC that you 'charged' at the store with the $100 in cash and no name ... or a false name. Once the item arrives, throw the burners in the incinerator. Once the authorities come to your address to inquire about Joe Schlomo's stuff, you can complain about still getting his mail, and you've lived here six years!

Nope, sorry officers. Don't know the guy.

Project Appleseed : So, you got a gun- can you hit anything? Best gun deal you will ever see. submitted by Shilly_Mc_Shillface to Gundeals

Only certain corners of nowhere in Oregon, and only certain suburbs of Seattle in Washington. Maybe Appleseed is an east-coast thing? Anyway, cool concept but doesn't help me any.

BCA Lightweight BCG (9oz) $59.99 submitted by Ginocide to Gundeals

kbearcat 1 points -1 points (+0|-1) ago

Either out of stock, or off-sale, or off the catalog. Link is dead, and searching for Bear Creek doesn't yield a lightweight BCG. searching for BCA finds nothing at all

Entry needs to be edited (we're using the NSFW flag like how plebbit does it?) since, while there's lots of good stuff at PA, this isn't one of them.
