Highland cattle submitted by 22trilionAsecond to aww

I have Herefords and Beefmasters. I've always like Charolais too! In this area highlanders don't go for much money in the sales barns because they are harder to finish and the fur hides a lot bone.

What can I do for my ailing 19 year old cat? submitted by TheRealMaestro to AskVoat

Call a vet. Tell them exactly what happened and ask if there's anything you can do from home. Otherwise they might want to look at your cat. I'm a rancher and have to have a vet out here about once every 4-5 months for something. It's always when I suspect something is wrong and just doesn't seem right. 95% of the time it was essential that I called, time is of the essence.

Aaaaaaand you're dead.

People in a Republican stronghold in the Central Valley thought a promise to crack down on illegal immigrants was just talk. Now they're alarmed that it isn't. submitted by Kannibal to politics

Rancher here, many farms and ranches do NOT get subsidies. Post above is correct. The vast majority of farms are family owned and operated, the 'shitty' houses are indeed the houses we live in. We don't do it for money, we do it to stay away from shit stains.

That guy above you is an idiot. Thank you Jixijenga for clearing people like them up.

Sweeping generalization on my end? How? Do you know that pretty much all farmers and ranchers in communities hang out with each other? Do you really think that people just magically stop hanging out after 4H and FFA are out of session?

Grats to the farmers in your area, glad to see when anyone makes it large enough they can hire out and take more than 8 hours off.
