Instead of Voat gold, why not buy a goat? Literally. Why not have a part of the proceeds from Voat Goats go to actually buying a goat to help families and villages? submitted by Qikdraw to AskVoat

I will come back to upvoat this as soon as I can (out of votes for now). This is a grand idea, though as others have noted, it should be a portion of the donations as opposed to all of it, as running a website isn't free. I think that it would help set Voat apart in a really wonderful way. Let's do some good in the world with this thing!

As a suggestion, perhaps you could make a few mock-ups of ideas for the community to vote on before producing the shirts, such that we can maximize how many people purchase? I've seen a lot of cool ideas like this end up not working as well as they ought due not to poor design, but just not hitting on the tastes of the main userbase.

You know, maybe you could just not click and not comment instead of being a dickbag about it.

Answer in good faith or move the fuck on without being a douche, simple stuff really.

Sidevoats: A rightvoat could be funny, leftvoat serious, or something like that. We could then sort by this seriousness value, so we can actively filter out pun threads and the like. submitted by qsysmine to ideasforvoat

Wonderfully, this correlates very well to how left politics can be taken seriously while the right is a big joke, lolololol.

(until you go so far left that you're just right-wingers in a different group, like extremist anythings)

Three rights make a left, three lefts make a right, and I'm very much aware it was a shit-tier joke.
