Furious Formula 1 'grid girls' who were fired from their jobs say they've 'lost important income because feminists think they know best' submitted by roznak to news

New age feminism hurts women more than men. When men have to avoid women to protect themselves, this leaves women out of jobs.

its hilarious that she recognizes why this is bad for women, but then completely disregards it and says "but you should hire women anyway!" the cognitive dissonance is strong with her.

Comey's response to the "Memo" reveals that he believed it would be much more incriminating. Obviously, there is more incriminating stuff that he knows about submitted by HitlerIsBlack to whatever

Does this discredit everyone that said releasing the memo was jeopardizing our national security? Can make a list of those people and ignore their concerns moving forward?

Are you ever attracted to someone then notice they have a tattoo then lose all attraction to that person? submitted by Justaddcoffee to AskVoat

Guys and girls are looking for different things in each other. Girls are looking for a guy that's strong/tough/bad boy/risk taker/bad ass. That's what tattoos signify. Guys are looking for innocent/sweet/feminine, the opposite of what tattoos represent.

Ladies, if you're trying to increase your attractiveness, don't get tattoos. No guy is going to say, "Well, she's smoking hot, but she doesn't have tattoos, that's a deal breaker for me." But there are guys that will say, "Well, she's smoking hot, but she has these hideous tattoos, fuck that." Or more likely, "Well, she's smoking hot, but she has these hideous tattoos, so sure, I'll fuck her, but she's not relationship material." Which is exactly the opposite of what most girls are looking for.

On the other hand, if you don't care about what other people think, do whatever the fuck you want. Just don't be surprised when people judge you for it.

Personally, I view tattoos as graffiti. I couldn't care less on guys, but the female body is a work of art that I want to appreciate. Tattoos are graffiti that ruins the experience. To me, it'd be like somebody throwing a bunch of paint all over the Grand Canyon.

i don't think you understood. i was saying to create a subverse of people's complaints so we could laugh at them. reporting something as offensive wouldn't have any affect on the user/post/comment reported. sure, you may still think that's a dumb idea, but i'm not whining, nor would this imply that i need to grow balls.

Anti-union challengers are on the verge of victory at Supreme Court submitted by Thisismyvoatusername to uspolitics

Conceptually, I like the idea of the people joining forces to strengthen their position and gain negotiating leverage. The same way a business owner should do what's in his best interest (try to pay people as little as possible), people should do what's in their best interest (join together and demand better wages). The key to both of these scenarios is that people are free to do what's in their best interest. The problem comes in when people are forced to pay dues to a union they don't support.

I worked for a union, once upon a time, and it was basically a huge group of lazy POS that were overpaid and exploiting the system. I wanted no part of it. I could see that it was bad for the company. Somebody had to do the work. I was fine with working, that's the deal, I work for you to have a profitable business, you pay me from those profits. Unions are basically another form of welfare for people that don't want to work. Maybe that's not how they started, and maybe that's not all unions now, but that was my experience.

How do we know that's not just a parade but they're too poor to have floats?
