Reddit is like that group of kids in school (you know the sort)... They think you're cool and include you in their group, as long as you agree with them on everything. Disagree even once and you become a pariah.

"I have a brilliant idea," say Liberals. "Let's eradicate any trace of Confederate History from the South!"
Yeah. Way to demonstrate utter ignorance, by forgetting the past.
The ancient Egyptians, when they wanted to "forget" someone, would go through any and all writings and physically remove the name from the record. Sound familiar? Notice how the Egyptians aren't top of the heap anymore?
Yeah, I know that there's some errant leaps of logic there, but the PC crowd aren't worth the time it would take for me to get it right.
Irony: Sweden trying to indict Assange for sexual molestation when every fucking muslim is guilty of that yet are running free, even after being caught red handed. submitted by aristotle07 to Showerthoughts

Assange is a white man and is therefore more guilty than the muslims, who are Arab (and therefore made of Teflon).

why not cure the underlying mental issues that make people "identify" as the wrong gender in the first place?
Maybe because it's not identified as a "disease".

Seriously (and I know i'll get down-voated into oblivion by everyone because they disagree), if someone goes into a pharmacy looking for last-minute contraceptives, maybe they should re-think their life choices or at the very least, wait a while longer.
If the store owner does not want to carry a certain product, so what? It's not your business. If you don't like it, just don't go there. Where I live, a major pharmacy has stopped selling cigarettes because they decided that smoking and health did not go hand-in-hand. There are still other places to get that crap.
Now if said pharmacy carried contraceptives and wouldn't sell it for $REASON, that's a different problem.
[EDIT: I re-read the article. I think the same application goes for muslims who work as cashiers at supermarkets and refuse to ring-up pork or alcohol. Religious reasons should be considered BEFORE looking for a job. As /user/dave31175 said, if it's going to prevent you from doing a job, find a new one. (Yeah, i know it's not a direct quote. See? No quotes.)]
