Military Admits Martial Law Test Runs Planned Throughout U.S. This Summer submitted by BobbyBlack to news

Nothing in your link explains why it's actually claimed to be false.

“That notion was proposed by a few individuals who are unfamiliar with how and why USASOC conducts training exercises,” he said in an email. “This exercise is routine training to maintain a high level of readiness for Army Special Operations Forces because they must be ready to support potential missions anywhere in the world on a moment’s notice.” He said the only thing unique about this particular exercise, which is slated to take place between July 15 and Sept. 15, is “the use of new challenging terrain” which was chosen because it is similar to conditions special operations forces operate in overseas. Lastoria added that concerns were heightened due to the rumored involvement of local law enforcement agencies but noted that such interagency collaboration was necessary as operations were planned for areas “outside of military bases where civilian agencies have jurisdiction.” He also observed that his office had been receiving a lot of phone calls from people who had heard about the exercise and were concerned about “the nature of the training objectives.”

So they do this kind of thing all the time, and he says that it's really meant as training for operations overseas, but that doesn't mean that it can't be used as the kind of martial law training people are concerned about. I don't see how they can claim that the reason underlying the training is for martial law is false if they don't provide any direct evidence that it is, in fact, false. If anything, it's debatable, and clearly calling the sites which argue that it's training for martial law "conspiracy websites" shows which side of the debate they're on.

Oh, but Snopes said it's false so it must be false, right?

Edit: if you want to downvote me go ahead, but please point me to where Snopes proves this is false rather than opines?

How joining Voat happens [OC] submitted by Dumb_Comment_Bot to funny

That argument could be applied to any decision a person makes though: tattoos, dying hair, ear piercing, what clothes one wears. I agree that being fat is a drain on society's resources, but there are like 200 million fat people in the US (probably more) so I just think such sweeping generalizations aren't necessarily accurate. Also someone's weight doesn't necessarily make them a bad person - there are plenty of really nice, kind, caring fat people out there, and treating them like a circus freak merely because they are fat just devalues humanity.

Ah "dirty blonde", another term for fucking brown. You just wish you had blonde hair because it fits with your self-proclaimed "oldfag" status. Go suck a cock, blondefag.
