oh man, i totally feel your pain. this place and the last place i worked had a very high percentage of women workers who i guess just cause i was a man they thought that i'd move their desks and fix shit that didnt even have electricity running through it. it was a constant battle and i blamed my manager more than anyone for not keeping these assholes off my back with that piddly shit, the big issue was that they had a guy to do that shit but he was never around or could be found when he was around. only because i was the only man in viewing distance that i'd reach on that top shelf or carry that heavy load. this made me very resentful towards so called woman's lib, when i got fed up with it all and put out an email saying if you do not have a problem using your computer or the services on which you rely on your computer for, unless your phone isnt working or you have a questions of either of those two things... then do not ask me anything else, ps. i do not work on personal computers nor do i answer questions about personal computers. this is how i make my living, please respect that. then i quit a month later... here where i am now is a much smaller place and i feel invested not only in my job but in the success of the business, while i wont do silly shit like hang a picture for someone i do check circuit breakers, deal with unruly patrons, even setup media equipment which I believe that if your job is to do a presentation then part of your job is knowing how to use the fucking equipment... dont pull me away from working on firewall configs or database pruning to do your job... fuckwads... this is why i hate people in general i feel.

Now that Pao is out are you staying with or leaving the goat? submitted by StormCellar to whatever

I am curious to see how much voat grew over the past revolt but my curiosity ends there as I am here to stay. anyone who would hire such an unqualified person as a leader of such a company only shows how little the ones who hired her are qualified.

I wonder though, now a days, it seems most places have adopted and some actually incentivise you to go paperless. My bills, my accounts now all paperless. Technology really has helped in many ways with living minimal, I remember my book shelves and all the books and all the cd's and dvd's and even vhs and records I had collected now downsized to an ereader and portable hard drive. It felt good to donate all that stuff to my local library too. When I go back to visit and go to that library I still see some of the items they kept and shelved, I'd never own a piece of classic art to donate to a museum but that feeling is the closest I can imagine getting.

Is Better Call Saul a good watch? I LOVED Breaking Bad, but haven't attempted to watch Vince Gilligans latest venture. Thoughts? submitted by djjin14568 to tv

it wound up being my favorite show that last season and I watched gilligans other show "battle creek", while i do like it, BCS is just really good, good acting, good drama, realism, I feel safe to say its the prequel to BB in all its greatness. Its just a damn good show.

How To Fight Depression: The Ultimate Guide submitted by european to Health

more dribble about depression for the people who self diagnose depression is what this looks like to me. I found non of it original nor helpful especially the part about hopelessness. the ultimate guide is more like the ultimate crap, of which makes me feel much better than reading this dribble.
