Why do Americans accept that a politician Putin has had people killed, without seeing a shred of evidence, but if you say a politician Clinton had people killed, you are labeled a conspiricy theorist? submitted by anzel2002 to AskVoat

gringo 0 points 61 points (+61|-0) ago

The number of people who died prematurely to the benefit of the Clintons is way too high to be explained by pure luck of the Clinton clan. The same can be said for Putin's family and other extremely influential people e.g. the Saudi royal family. It's just that corporate media has orders to attack Putin, and so they do. Therefore people are aware in case of Putin but not in the many other cases.

Yishan has some harsh words for kn0thing about how he let Ellen take the blame for Victoria's firing. submitted by RED-001 to MeanwhileOnReddit

gringo 0 points 26 points (+26|-0) ago

Well, I gave my upvoat. I think this is much more important than all of this Chairman Pao hate going on. So /r/conspiracy (etc.) was right all along, that she was just a scapegoat for the real chairman. However, it's strange that /r/conspiracy hasn't picked up on Yishan's comments yet... probably some censoring going on. At least /r/blackout2015 is focussing on it.

Just got enough CCP to downvoat. Looking for obvious spam on v/all new & think I found a bot! submitted by OneOfTheBoys to whatever

gringo 1 points 11 points (+12|-1) ago

With great power comes great responsability. Extrapolating from my current CCP growth, I'll be able to downvote earliest in about 8 or 9 months unless I get involved into some drama meanwhile. I'll enjoy my life until then.

Going to coontown to discuss the amount of statistical correlation between ethnicity, cultural background, and personality traits ? I can think of more enjoyable discussions.

Men seeking right to judicial abortions submitted by DiamondMask to TwoXChromosomes

I think "judicial abortion" is a really lurid and inappropriate choice of words. You can call it in whatever angled way (depending on your position) you want but this headline is just clickbait.

Germany is about to start up a monster machine that could revolutionize the way we use energy submitted by madmalloy to realnews

gringo 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

I agree with you that this isn't truly newsworthy at this point in time. When it goes live in probably a few months, it's surely an advancement in the field as it seems significantly larger than the Japanese LHD. I'd then consider it the biggest leap in German energy technology since Bagger 288.
