What I heard: "I'm serious about doing what it takes to protect our shareholders"

Congress Censors the Internet, Put Child Sex Trafficking Victims in more Danger, and Threatens to Destroy Platforms like Voat submitted by Honeybee_ to whatever

Fuck Congress and fuck this bill. The only reason they EVER create bipartisan bills is to fuck us over. They don't care about the sex trafficking at all, it's more about overall censorship and making it harder for everyone who isn't them.

Tesla, without any doubt, is on the verge of bankruptcy. submitted by Ex-Redditor to Collapse

Tesla has been on the verge of bankruptcy for at least ten years. 2006 was an especially close call. But that's a necessary evil when you're copying Amazon's and Netflix's business strategy of growth at all cost.

That means that Tesla's future is now (and has always been) in the hands of their investors. If they start to lose trust that Tesla can deliver, they'll pull out and the company is done. If not, they could survive and grow for a few more years.

Yeah I agree that environmentalism is mostly ineffective. But I don't think we'll get a genocide either; people really don't like those.

My best guess is that we'll eat everything that can be eaten, and burn everything that can be burnt. And then we'll go extinct.

I actually agree with you that this is all a population issue. But if you look at the history of other countries, you'll see that population reduction is insanely unpopular. China had one of the most drastic population policies of the whole world (the one-child policy) and not only was it widely circumvented, it needed to be abolished after just 18 years. If any leader proposed "lowering our population to sustainable levels" (which would be less than 1B, by the way) they'll be thrown out of office as soon at the end of the sentence.
