I use Google mainly for watching YouTube, since the big G owns them, but don't have any active accounts there anymore. Getting rid of my smart phone is something I'll probably do for more practical reasons rather than because of Google. For now, I also think many large companies become fascist for the same reasons people do too since, the reptilian part of our brains can overreact to certain things then make bad decisions in the process. Companies and governments just do this on a larger scale.

It's not just Reddit but the entire internet since crypto could become a missing payment layer of the web proposed in projects like Xanadu while simultaneously incentivizing decentralization alongside meshnets.

Since the smog didn't float in from somewhere else, this city just probably just likes trolling itself rather than controlling its own weather.

In your opinion, what is the most significant technological advancement we've made since the year 2000? submitted by Magnar to AskVoat

The internet, since it pretty much runs on and was, paritally, created by, and for, Porn, Kittens, and Trolls. I also think 3d printers will be seen as another 21st century technology that drastically changed the world in about five or ten years as their first hype cycle slowly settles down.

Oops, I guess I meant to say that it influenced peoples lives more after the 2000's onwards as mobiles and social networks began spreading.

I decide to sleep since I'm too tired and hungry to relight the fire as blurry visions of lambs hopping fences waft gently through my dreams.
