I take issue with OP in that they assert without evidence that there is corruption. /u/ljlf asked for clarification, but none came. Y'all are just making unsubstantiated claims, and that in part is why this thread hasn't taken off.

It doesn't make a good argument to make a blanket statement that the entire United States Government is corrupt - individual politicians caught in scandal, perhaps, but the entirety of the system? Really don't think so. Nothing is 'obvious' without evidence. Show me.
