/r/science mod deletes comment refuting white privilege. Asks the poster to "edit in a peer reviewed research paper" to prove it doesn't to restore his comment. submitted by Cuilrunnings to MeanwhileOnReddit

I wish someone would compile a list of things that negatively impact white people because of their "privilege".

For instance, "because I'm white, I have to censor my own speech in the classroom or the workplace because if my ideas offend anyone, I'm automatically considered hateful or racist"

People don't seem to realize how much work goes into being a model: years of strict diet, constant exercise, early mornings and late nights, constant booking and rejection, the list is huge.

After all the work the model does to shape his or her body, I think being able to show it off and have thousands of people see it would be extremely rewarding. So much discipline is required to be a model, and fat acceptance is an attempt to lower the standards of beauty.

Some people like big girls, some people like skinny girls. But I've never felt shamed by someone with a great body in a magazine cover. However, I feel insulted when a person with a big body tells me that my attraction to fit physiques is wrong.

If I was financially capable of it, I would take 2 children. I would teach them the constitution, take them to church, and make them into Americans.

I'm not especially religious, but where I live it's a big part of the culture. So, yeah, I guess I would. But this is hypothetical anyway.
