Space sim 'Limit Theory' canceled six years after successful Kickstarter campaign submitted by Timmy2 to gaming

While the game's source code will be released, Parnell warns it’s far from a working game. "But releasing it is the least I can do. I don't imagine it will be of any use to anyone, other than as a monument to a failed dream."

Releasing the source code is what separates the charlatans and scam artists from the merely unsuccessful.

The urinary tract anatomy is a really bad way to define sex. Would you define an XY individual with androgen insensitivity syndrome as female, despite having internal testes?

AFAIK, the real definition of sex in the sciences is defined by which type of haploid cell you produce which is very closely tied to genetics. But if you have an XYY genotype, while still producing functional haploid sperm cells, I'd bet most scientists would probably define that to be male.

If you actually want something confusing, consider mosaicism, where you have two different sets of DNA.

Yes, they are rare, but the point of having a good definition is to account for these kinds of exceptions to the rule.

To be pedantic, the Broadcom NIC and optional SAS controller need their own blob firmware, but with the IOMMU there really isn't a risk, since you should be encrypting your network traffic and disk storage anyway.

Besides, someone's already working on reverse engineering the NIC firmware anyway.

Still, it's the closest thing to owner-controlled hardware you can get.
