Highest post on the frontpage just 5 minutes after creation with as many upvotes as hours old submissions, no comments, 12 hour old account? Seems fishy to me.

Put some effort into it.

I'll just leave this here... submitted by andresias to pics

It's Photoshopped. The characters of Ra*ists align perfectly while the other characters on the sign are all unique.

I bet she considers generalizing women terribly misogynist.

What does feminism mean to you? submitted by cajunsunrise to Feminism

Could it be that they get upset about other things that they associate or attribute, rightfully or not, to feminism?

Once again you're generalizing. What is the problem if a Feminist fights injustices on other fields beyond the gender injustices?

Asking you if you entertained the possibility of a variety of reasons that people dislike feminism - while acknowledging that these reasons might be wrong - equates to generalizing? Generalizing whom, exactly?

Aren't you yourself generalizing others by assuming that people dislike feminism for this particular reason and that there is not a variety of reasons for which people might dislike feminism?

I very much doubt that there are many people out there that dislike activism against injustice. I personally think it's rather that these people go to feminist communities or read popular feminist magazines/blogs and encounter a lot of bigotry and hostility.

For example because they might get wrongly accused of generalizing after asking a feminist if she or he entertained the thought about being wrong with an assumption...

Should male circumcision be considered genital mutilation? submitted by IndigoElectric to AskVoat

But, if removing a toe was proven to reduce the risk of cancers, I probably would.

The point is that I think it's safe to say that removing any part of your body will reduce the chance of cancer and other illnesses, simply because there'll be less biological mass that can get ill or affected.

Angelina Jolie had a history of breast cancer in her family, so she lopped off her boobs preemptively.

What if her parents had done so before she was old enough to decide for herself? No one cares what adults do to their bodies willingly.

I agree, to say that it's beneficial to cut something off because it slightly reduces the risk of cancer in the very part that is being cut off is indeed very stupid.
