Quake Live is no longer free, now it costs money, Linux support has been removed and all player stats are gone. Courtesy of Bethesda. Don't forget to preorder that Fallout 4 though! submitted by Troll to gaming

It's really isn't as bad as it appears. Anyone that previously had switched over to steam (which the devs had been giving reminders to switch for years) still has the game free and doesn't have to pay the subscription services ever again. And now instead of paying $36/month, now you just pay $10 once and don't ever have to worry about whether or not you've paid your subscription this month.

I think that this is actually a good move. They are forgiving charges for trivial things on a broad scale and looking to improve their system on fines. This hopefully gives the poorer communities a sharp nudge towards improvement.

So does everyone else. It's an archaic restriction. They test for shit anyways.

'Nearly impossible' to find the jihadists among migrants, Greeks warn submitted by dildonkers to news

I'd rather jihadists be harder to find than having thought-police sniffing around where they shouldn't. I do think education would help prevent a lot of the refugees from finding a holy war to be their best course of action.

Mate, sex and gender are both social constructs. Literally everything we come up with are social constructs. Gender and sex were one and the same, but now people are trying to separate them to try to better explain what's going on in peoples' bodies. Your body can have testicles, but your brain can be wired to expect ovaries (an over-simplification, but hopefully you get the point). That mix-up is what causes the whole "i don't feel like i should be a guy/girl" in peoples' heads. Now that we're better understanding it, we're trying to make our labels more specific and accurate. Granted, with the break-down in gender roles, I really don't think gender matters as much as sex anyways.
