I think the sort of free speech that will bring voat to the level of reddit are the asinine/witty/sassy/whatever comments that break no rules but contribute nothing to the conversation. These are hard to deal with because there's nothing wrong with them per se and, let's face it, they're common...

It will be news when the verdict is reached. Until then, it's schadenfreude and personal attacks, i.e. gossip. I dislike what Pao et al have done to reddit as much as (or more) than the average Voat user, but I'd prefer to keep that stuff it in...
