The destruction of healthy social norms and boundaries and the respect for purity, innocence, and childhood is well upon us.
The words the CDC is now forbidden to use are "vulnerable," "entitlement," "diversity," "transgender," "fetus," "evidence-based" and "science-based." George Carlin would flip. submitted by Kannibal to politics

Nauseatingly ironic. That is utterly obstructive behavior. And it appears to be very unclear where this ban originated from. It needs to be fought off intensely. I see that it's a ban restricted to this case:
in any official documents being prepared for next year’s budget.
But it seems malicious and manipulative, not to mention counter to basic rights guaranteed to Americans. How would we find the truth about anything if we were restricted from using keywords? As a site full of people who condemn fake news, we should condemn any interference with seeking truth, regardless of ideology.
This is going to put excess red tape (read: that's NOT conservative) on even non-controversial areas of study (like which populations are most vulnerable to types of cancers and which cancer treatments show evidence-based or science-based efficacy).

v/Funny that you think my priority is to be liked by people online. My priority is having a little fun with my freedom of speech.
I have been here long enough to know how my views do/don't fit. And my "Reddit-tier" content does alright on Voat, so either some users agree with me, or they have a sense of humor/appreciation for my content.
