A community will be Quarantined on Reddit when we deem its content to be extremely offensive or upsetting to the average redditor or to ourselves.

Censorship: /v/Science deleted the #1 thread in their subverse, which made the front page and /v/all, and was supported by the community by an 8:1 ratio. This is unacceptable submitted by SmedleyButler to ProtectVoat

Some fields need 3-5 sigmas to even start taking something seriously, some fields have 50% or worse replication rates, and some fields don't even have anything to replicate. The very few parts of the social sciences that are consistent and replicable show e.g. that IQ is strongly correlated with life outcomes and highly heritable, that even after you correct for everything imaginable blacks < hispanics < whites < asians, and other taboo findings.

Would anyone else be happy if for an entire week they didn't see any posts about SJWs, She, Bernie Sanders or Trump? submitted by hyperoperation to askgoat

Nobody fucking cares. If you can't handle just not reading things, or even reading them but not acting on them (like this circlejerkish shitpost), you can block subs.
