When you try to enrich some Poles with acid XD submitted by Dziewanna to whatever

I wonder what the guy was expecting attacking 3 drunk blokes in tracksuits, that's a guaranteed beat down for pretty much anything, including breathing same air.

On the side note - those Poles will probably be extradited for not complying with local acid enrichment laws.

Lol, GoG is doing a "Made in Poland" sale, including Witcher titles. Subtle jab at Netflix. submitted by OldManJohnson to gaming

It's a celebration of 100 anniversary of Poland's independence. A few more European countries were/will be celebrating this as the end of WW1 brought those back to life. No jab here, really. That said - supporting independent stores is always welcome.

Microsoft Bug is Deactivating Windows 10 Pro Licenses and Downgrading to Home submitted by roznak to technology

asdef 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

Had this happen to me yesterday. My Windows complained about lack of activation for the first time in like 3 years and when I tried activating it, it showed that it's a Home version instead of a Pro. I had to leave so I turned the PC off and left. I came back later a few hours later, reactivated without issues with Pro license back. Kinda non issue really...

Russia Accepts 15 000 White South African Farmers submitted by EstelleNation to whatever

asdef 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

There's still a matter of SA farmers accepting Russia. Sure, people are fine, but the whole politics and administration part might be difficult to cope with. Unless Putin wants to personally make it a success story, they'll be given anything they want...

EDIT: I read more about the matter. It's hardy about help to 15 000 refugees, but agricultural investments as farmers need to have $100k for land leases. I doubt that significant number of those farmers can secure that kind of money.

Italian police clear Roma camp despite EU ruling requesting delay. The eviction is a victory for Matteo Salvini, the Italian interior minister submitted by generate to news

Actually a lot of the romas have Romanian citizenship, so it's valid to called them such. Slovakia is pretty big in roma game too - search for Lunik 9, it's one of the most known sites.

I dare you to find a modern version of Dragon Age Origins

I haven't played DAO as I refuse to give EA any money, but isn't The Witcher 3 a few levels better? Hardly any virtue signaling in it too.
