Just to be more precise: it says that LGBT and gender press will not have scientific status.

Polish Government Gets Rid of the EU Flags at Their Press Meetings submitted by 00ellis to news

The EU can be useful, the continent has many shared interests, I think Poland wishes to continue building this Union, but the eurocrats need to be kept on a tighter leash, they need to serve the nations of Europe instead of trying to highjack and destroy them. Changing the flags is just a little gesture, meant to remind the eurocrats of their place, and how quickly they can lose it without the backing of Europes nations. A reminder that they seem to need.

The fucked up part is that 70% is transmitted by people who do know!

What is the most boring book you finished reading? submitted by tar-x to books

Not sure if it fits this topic. The Light Ages by Ian R. Macleod, for years starting this book would put me to sleep, but then, maybe after 10 attempts or so, something finally clicked and I liked it. Well written, industrial fantasy, glad I didn't give up on it.

Green Man Gaming Comes Under Fire For Selling Unauthorized Keys submitted by 0dds_0f_Even to gaming

Steam does a lot for PC gaming: from pushing linux, to helping devs with greenlight, to doing a good job with classics like CS and Dota. Sometimes they make mistakes but overall Steam makes PC gaming better. Same goes for GoG, they don't just sell games, they have a mission, they take care of older games, and they make PC gaming better as well. Everyone else just sells games, so I prefer to support Steam and GoG, even if it means I pay a few bucks extra sometimes.
