Github disables repository for using the word "retard." submitted by SuperConductiveRabbi to programming

The problem with SJW is they don't actually code. They run around saying that they are women developers and just as good as men, but all they do is lurk repositories and complain about things. Well, I say that, but SJW is just a giant melting pot of talentless hacks of all genders and races that only have the ability to bitch about things as opposed to actually doing constructive things.

/r/ModTalk leaks: "When did the user base become so hostile?" Also discusses user exodus and admin complaints submitted by go1dfish to MeanwhileOnReddit

This is exactly what a dying social platform looks like. Moderators and admins completely out of touch with the user's needs while arrogantly doing what they think is best, even if they're confronted with constant resistance. They could have stopped this, as those mods know and mentioned, things have slowed on reddit. Reddit tried to clean up its image under the guise of social justice to make the site more appealing to investors and advertisers. And they ended up chasing away all those users that investors and advertisers actually want.

The admins are so out of touch with what's happening that they think that more moderation will make things better. But the more tools they give mods, the more tools bad moderators have to manipulate the site. And those bad moderators chase away users. I can promise you that when you see things like reddit mods nuking a thread and a post about it, that there's a lot of people who just unsubbed from that sub or just gave up on reddit and said nothing.

Unless they change something, reddit will constantly bleed moderate and even progressing into moderate leftists until all that remains are power hungry people. The types of people who want to erase dissenting opinions and ensure that what they believe is law. Chipware seems to understand what's going on but the other ones don't. They also don't understand the mods are encouraging the behavior they don't want by telling everyone what they're doing is wrong. A lot of people love to do things when they're told not to, specially on the internet. It's why we have trolls.

I don't know why everyone's making a big deal over a car accident. It's just part and parcel of living in a big city submitted by Slayfire122 to politics

Getting ran over is just part and parcel of protesting in the streets. I am really worried about the driver of that car, he's the real victim here.

/Politics is censoring negative information about Trump by outright deleting submissions. Look... submitted by NotRight to news

I'm pretty sure you're just deleting the posts yourself and claiming the mods are doing it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if a mod deleted it, no one would be able to access it. It's just deleting the username and leaving the content up.

Yes, it can run Crysis. submitted by Troll to gaming

Yes that's right, all you need is an Intel™ Core i7™ 7700k™ instead of an amd "completely meh" ryzen. I saw some benchmarks at 1080p, a monitor resolution you should keep using for the next 5 years because it is an Industry Standard™, just like the superior performance of Intel™ Core Series™ Processors.

amd ryzen may come close to the impressive performance of Core i7™ 6900k™ , but the real issue is gaming at 1080p compared to Intel™ Core i7™ quad core processors. Sure amd ryzen has twice the cores, but it can be 20% slower in games that don't use those cores. So really, the Core i7™ is definitely worth the price for the 6900k (it has better IO options and more PCIe lanes!), or if you want quad core performance, the Core i7™ 7700k is superior for gaming thanks to 50% of the cores but 20% faster in some games. That's just the logical conclusion to come to after reviewing a ryzen processor and you'll see some great names like Anandtech coming to the same conclusions, because they understand the true superiority of Intel™ Core Series™ CPUs. I would say if you have a quad core Intel™ Core Series™ CPU, you have no reason to double your cores as an upgrade, it's a total waste. Rendering and streaming is for nerds anyways.

ryzen is a failure please do not buy one, if it was good, the amazing people at Intel™ would have lowered our prices in anticipation of this launch :^)
