The only problem I'm seeing is that smaller subverses aren't growing. Discussion on larger subverses is pretty constant, but there's no way to get new blood into existing subverses.

Reddit hard bans all links to slimgur, the image host announced recently as a competitor to imgur due to Imgurs ideological censorship of fat criticism images. Imgur and Reddit have common investors. submitted by Billionaire to technology

a_of_s_t 0 points 61 points (+61|-0) ago

This is insane. Like, instead of just letting the novelty of slimgur naturally die out and make it irrelevant, they go an ban it, giving it more media attention? SMH, someone needs to fire the Reddit public relations employees.

I really like the idea of the popcorn workstation, especially at home. I've done it before, but I never had a term for it and I didn't even realize I was being more productive. Depending on the task, I'll completely switch locations so that I'm not distracted by other tasks. It's also always nice to have a change of scenery.

Have you made any apps with NativeScript? How does it compare to React Native? I'm starting to make more mobile apps these days and I'm really curious which framework will give me the most for my time.

I think my favorite song from The Pillows/FLCL is Ride On Shooting Star, but this one is good too!
