I suspect that the reason why this blogger is so fixated on this "bottom half" issue is the fact that they're trans. The issue of "bottom halves" is probably pretty prominent in their thought process, being dissatisfied with the one they were born into. I think this heavily colors their thinking here.

And one only needs go so far as mermaids for a counter-example. There, you get a woman who's completely without this oh-so-prized bottom half.

If she's happy with the way she looks, why did she use a deceptive angle shot in the second picture?
