I couldn't find anything retail to hold all of my monitors so I got creative and made something that I love. Been using it for about 5 years now, and it is priceless to me!

TIL that 150,000 Jews served in WW2 Germany's Army submitted by TAThatBoomerang to TIL

I love the quote, “If the Jews were permitted to serve in Hitler’s armed forces then there could not have been a Holocaust," as though semantics about the definition can mitigate the atrocities committed. I visited Dachau last year and was really struck by the way Germany (in the audio tour and printed material) openly presents the facts in terms of absolute good vs. absolute evil. They don't try to water it down in any way, contrary to what I see in many other studies and reports.

Great article, though! This quote is a TL:DR, "On the murderous road to 'racial purity' Hitler encountered unexpected detours, largely due to his own crazed views and inconsistent policies regarding Jewish identity. After centuries of Jewish assimilation and intermarriage in German society, he discovered that eliminating Jews from the rest of the population was more difficult than he’d anticipated."

Easy fix - don't be on Facebook. Who cares what you ate for breakfast? If you have friends close by, meet with them regularly for a coffee. Long-distance friends? Pick up the damn phone and call them!

Facebook is friendship for the lazy. My wife has "hundreds" of Facebook friends but only actually TALKS to them maybe once a year.

I thought that sentence really boiled down the article's main concept, pointing out very succinctly that the drive to eliminate all Jews became a muddled mess when one considers the intermarriage aspect, and resulting in Jews serving in the WWII German Army.

As far as my bias, I presented that in my first paragraph "...as though semantics about the definition can mitigate the atrocities committed."
