Voaters, what unlikely thing changed your life? submitted by Lacerta_viridis to AskVoat

Back when I was a kid (like six), I eat a lot. So I was a fat kid. I kept eating and eating so I got fatter and fatter. And then two years ago when I was 12, I was on PE class when after some activities, our coach told me that someday I'm going to be so much better than today. That sort of awoken something in me.

I started running and lifting. Two years later, I lost some weight, making me not obese and slightly overweight. I ran faster, I get tired less. Lifting didn't make a large impact until I hit puberty at 13. It was good. I'm still on the healthy road.

Wow these photos really are incredible! I particularly love Saturn's Hexagonal Storm and like the ice channels on Enceladus!

I am a fat person, but I love FPH submitted by deleted to fatpeoplehate

TheLandsOfSummer 1 points -1 points (+0|-1) ago

I don't get pleasure from humilation or pain. At first FPH was like this hate sub. But after some curiosity, I find that being fat is bad. The fat acceptance movement is weird. My world view on fitness has been turned 180 degrees.

They sort of motivated me to exercise. Previously I saw myself as wrong so I worked out. But I am losing motivation. FPH helped to regain some motivation.

And that is fucking great.

What are you doing when it's very hot in your room and you don't have AC? submitted by dalek_caan to AskVoat

Get naked, get in the bathroom. Then just turn on the cold shower. Sit at the end of the water stream. Sit for as long as you want.

End result: Having a really chill body.

What are some videos, articles, pictures, things on the internet, etc. that have made you laugh so hard you cried? submitted by Prarydog2 to AskVoat

It's probably a bit said over and over, but "Grape lady falls" and "Bootleg Fireworks" makes me laugh a lot. Like way too many.
