I just had a look at @She's account and it says: Member for: 2 months (joined on: 22.05.2015). The 'Reddit blackout' was at the beginning of July, the 'Fattening' at the beginning of June, so shes been here for two to six weeks longer than most of the others.

I find this poetic waxing about how much nicer Voat was during those two loooong weeks before those user migrations started kind of funny.

I for one think it's an important issue, that’s why I posted it. One of the reasons I'm here is because of people like her influencing how Reddit is run. Exposing such people for the nut jobs that they are and so limiting their influence is a good thing.

This is the last of a three part series on Randi Harper who, as Milo puts it is one of the Internet’s most vociferous, albeit self-appointed, arbiters of morality.

Here are the other two parts:

Harping On: The Hypocrisy and Lies of Twitter’s Most Notorious ‘Anti-Abuse’ Activist, Randi Harper, Part 1

Canada's controversial terrorism law criticised by UN human rights group submitted by let_them_eat_slogans to news

These UN committees for the most part are a joke. The label 'UN' gives them an air of authority, but if you look whose on them, it’s the cronies of African dictators who are given these comfy jobs either as a reward or to keep them loyal.

So I am not giving anything the UN says the benefit of the doubt.

But as said above, I did not look into this specific case more closely. For instance I also do not support the mass surveillance of citizens of other measure that infringe on civil liberties. However I think that deporting islamic extremists would be a good thing.

It is possible that I used too b road a brush to paint the UN and that I confused the Committee with the Council, but I do stand by the gist of my statement that the UN is a big waste of money. I have two friends who work for the UNDP and Internal Audit and their inside assessment is as well that the UN, for the most part, is an accelerating gravy train.

/r/WorldNews banning Palestinian Violence, "Not Appropiate Subreddit" submitted by PM_ME_YOUR_FALAFEL to MeanwhileOnReddit

I'm trying to think of something funny with falafel and Palestinians, but I'm stuck. But it's probably for the better anyway :)
