Idiot Hogg 'Clear backpacks infringe on constitutional rights'. Can't make this up. submitted by Darthjetta to news

That_one_guy 0 points 72 points (+72|-0) ago

I don't get it hoggface....you want to restrict people's access to one right, but not have another infringed the exact same way? You did realize that all rights have the same level of protection (ie: you fuck with one, you're giving consent to fuck with them all.)

Calling him an idiot is an insult to all the real idiots out there, he's just an ignorant twatwaffle.

The Department of Homeland Security was never able to audit the security of Clinton's email server for four years because the agency was never notified of its existence submitted by TerriChris to news

So, she took government communications, bypassed their auditing by putting it on a private server with questionable security (it was compromised, which is how it's existence got out in the first place), and they are still not arresting her?

When I had a clearance job, if I did this I'd be sitting in a jail cell within a day of them finding out. The government is losing credibility every second they do not treat her as a criminal for this. Not to mention she got flat out caught incorrectly classifying documents so she could share them with questionable individuals.

Her and Bill have a history of shady behavior, almost as if they thought laws, ethics and morals didn't apply to them. That's the last thing we need in Washington, a sociopath for president.

That_one_guy 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

Nope. I just can't convince myself to spend the money on a dedicated device. The main reason being the screen is too large. I've been reading e-books since I owned a Handspring Prism in 2001. That first book was a pdf version of Neal Stephenson's "Cryptonomicon". Since,...

Do you feel the internet is now so important it has become a NECESSITY like heat, water or electricity? submitted by Blunt to AskVoat

YES. You are at a massive disadvantage in job hunting and house hunting without an internet connection. The difference in having internet and not having it can be the difference in an unemployed person finding a job and becoming homeless. That said, it's necessary.

Why Google wants to replace Gmail submitted by Atko to technology

That_one_guy 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

Of course they do, it's easy to have spam-trap email addresses, not easy to have spam trap text or IM addresses. This is why corporations want email to go away. Spam-traps cost them money in storage and in devaluing advertising services.
