"I thought I wanted free speech, that was before I found out that it meant people could say whatever they wanted." - That guy in the post, probably.

Rachel Maddow Broke the Law When She Revealed Trumps Tax Forms Faces Up to 5 Years in Prison submitted by antiliberalsociety to whatever

Remember that one time Hillary got caught with a private server? That was against the law too.
Remember when she had classified info on there? That was against the law too.
Remember when she deleted all of her emails? That was against the law too.
Remember when she had her staff destroy physical evidence with hammers, including cell phones and tablets? That was against the law too.
Remember when she got caught lying to the court? That was against the law too.
Remember how all these journalists are calling for the assassination of Trump? That's against the law too.
Remember how those Antifa cunts are wrecking towns because their little autistic minds can't cope with reality? That's against the law too.
Remember how all these reporters just keep shoveling the same bullshit that gets proven wrong constantly and slander? That's against the law too.
If we thought a little harder about it, I'm sure we could fire off a couple hundred more illegalities, but it doesn't change the lesson, which is, if you're a liberal, you're allowed to do whatever the fuck you want without any fear of repercussions.

Result of gun control submitted by boekanier to whatever

The counterpoint to this would be, “look at Australia or the UK.”
But the argument against THAT would be, “The population of Australia is 24 million, the population of the UK is 65.6 million, and America’s population is 323 million; something as drastic as this DOESN’T scale up. A smaller population is a hell of a lot easier to manage in EVERY conceivable way.”
Seriously though, getting rid of semi-automatic rifles like the AR-15 doesn’t seem like it’d be too crazy, but yes, I own one.
They try and take my pistols, or even try and get rid of concealed carry, THAT’S when I’ll have a big problem with it.

Vaping co-pilot causes plane to plunge 20,000 feet submitted by Samsquamch to news

TestForScience 5 points -4 points (+1|-5) ago

He was a pilot.
He was flying an airplane.
He was a pilot that didn’t know what the buttons in the airplane he was flying did.
Because of his incompetence, he hit the wrong button.
How are you going to compare a junky killing someone for drug money to a professional pilot flying an aircraft? Those are nowhere near each other in relevance.

Which part? The part where he was a pilot that didn’t know what the buttons in the airplane he was flying did?
