I just migrated over here, but I'm a little disappointed that there is no thread with all the police scanner and updates and stuff. Just commentary about how terrible reddit is. I get it, reddit is bad. But where is the news on this story?

What concerns me: When a government fails to represent its people, it begins to overlook major public concerns. Eventually these concerns turn into crises and riots.

While I'm upset at reddit, it's not because reddit is horrible. Rather, it's a statement of disappointment that it seems to be losing it's overall awesomeness/usefulness.

Hell, if I haven't closed my Facebook account yet, then I certainly have no right to close my reddit account.

That said, I'm excited to see where Voat goes from here. I think this may soon become my new "home."

I agree. I feel like I've moved from a crowded neighborhood, to a new nice one on the edge of town. I don't mind driving into the old crowded city center to run errands. But at the end of the day, it's nice to escape to this place.

Free expression. The only censorship should be blatantly illegal content. But no censoring ideas.
