i've contributed more to voat in a few days than i have to reddit in 5+ years. anyone feel the same? submitted by goonie to AskVoat

I'm not exactly sure how comments are scored on reddit, but I know that the score you see is always approximate and subject to complex algorithms. This combined with the algorithms that build the front page made everything seem more... fake.

I've always felt like simplicity is key in any open forum. I've only been on voat for about an hour, but it looks promising.

Patreon already denied 8chan several times on technicality. I wouldn't trust it.
