"So what you're saying is, you have the right to remove people from your community if they don't hold your values & beliefs?"

To be honest, I think it’s just a natural oart of assimilating more new people on a platform that offers genuine debate. My boyfriend only knows the “refugees are good for economy, the negative feelings are all racism” narrative about Syrian migrants in Europe. We have started having much more frustrating, much more helpful ‘fights’ over it because I use voat to point out how things are not going well, and he points out the half or so of my sources that are more editorial than factual. That means both of us get a sharper view of the situation, but also that conversation is less of a circle jerk about ideas we like.
In the end, it’s just a natural reaction for someone to have to a genuine debate environment, when all they are used to is “good people talk, everyone else votes, and the mods make sure to keep it that way”.
This isn’t just about reddit, of course. ’Moderators’ on news channel are the people who hire the writers, and the people who approve stories and debate talking points.
People don't hate gay people for being gay. They hate them for trying to change our culture. They're only 2% of America, yet they want society to be structured around them. submitted by ProblemWithVoat to SJWHate

Right. All us fags want is to be able to marry each other and to not get dead for liking butts.

C'mon, guys, this is mean. Just because Trump made a move about military inclusion doesn't mean this website is just open season against t3h gh3ys.
I've said this before, and I'll say it again, when it comes to gay pride parades. People like you will work alongside someone like me, a fairly modest straight-acting guy who doesn't really care what you think of my sex life, and see me every day, share a lunch space with me, and be completely fine, but then one day, you ask about my wife, I tell you I have a husband instead and suddenly everything changes. You're looking at me like there's a penis-shaped horn growing out of my head. You don't want to work with me or share a lunch space with me. All because of something that, honestly, isn't any of your fucking business in the first place.
You can say, "Well, why don't you just keep it to yourself then?" But you'll still ask questions about my home life and relationships. I don't want the right to brag at the cooler about how I was elbow-deep in a confused teenager the previous night, for fuck's sake, I just want to be able to use the 'he' pronoun when I talk about the most important person in my life and to be able to just be proud of the good things that happen for us, to express that I'm happy, just like everybody else can do.
The whole point of a parade is supposed to be, that you go back to work the next day, you see your gay colleague dressed in his slacks and collared T-shirt just trying to do his best at the job he has (just like you and everyone else at the company) and think, "Ehh, maybe he's not so bad."

Your pagan ethno-religion is stupid.

Ahhh, so you're the kind of person that picks out small details that they don't like, and then discards whole people out-of-hand based on them. Well, more power to ya, but my opinion is that you're probably ignoring lots of people that are good people and have stuff to say that you'd probably agree with.
