Whilst most of my experience with these sort of command typing mechanics are relegated to MUDs and the odd old school dungeon crawler, I do know a thing or two about the modern incarnation of the Interafctive Fiction concept, namely Interactive Storytelling or Narrative. The main difference being - as mentioned in the video as well - the modern approach usually adds in graphics and a role-playing element. One of the best examples of the (sub)genre - that I am aware of - is called King of Dragon Pass which I have reviewed and suggest to anyone interested in reading and running a medieval fantasy style clan ;) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_EqIs09RlGc&list=PLQCSYdOjJ9MhmSw3hgohNTurRWrx3pZw7&index=16

Top 5 Sword & Sorcery movies for your D&D campaign submitted by StefaNonsense to RPG

Thanks for watching!

I guess I should've made it clear that the movies would be running in the background with super low-volume, so that they don't distract per se. They're just there to work as inspiration for the current or maybe future campaigns or simply something to distract a more short-attention span group - which I've had - FROM their phones. It's easier to get them back into the game if they're focusing on the same thing, at least in my experience.

I understand, thank you for the heads-up Cynabuns, I'll try to be more varied with the content I share and more active in the community. I like VOAT and would like to be with it for a long-long time :)

Not my account. A friend of mine who really likes my stuff, and I like his, but I guess I'll tell him to not do it then?

He suggested VOAT and I joined the next day. This is a Hot Fuzz situation, you think it's one thing but get ready for the twist at the end.

I promise neither those accounts will post things from my channel - Complete Nonsense Reviews - for at least a month, and I will be continuing being active on voat in general with things not of my own making, how does that sound? I really do like Voat and want to be able to promote - self or otherwise - my content here in the future.
