Damned if ya do, damned if ya don't... submitted by Insta_Mental to Linux

when used in conjunction with other privacy tools such as OTR, Cspace, RedPhone, and TrueCrypt was ranked as "catastrophic,"

I always chuckle at the use of catastrophic when it's not used in conjunction with large scale disasters. All I can think of some person going "Oh shit! They are using Tor?! FUCK! THE SKY IS ON FIRE!"

In light of Win 10 creepiness, I decided to start working with linux. What distribution do you suggest for someone with no experience whatsoever? submitted by 1rash to Linux

You can and driver concerns should be a thing of the past for you. The majority of things will just work out of the box (the drivers are all contained within the linux kernel). If you run into issue, the Mint forums are really helpful.

I do suggest that you road test a few different Linux flavours though to see what you like in Virtualbox before you install. Like Ubuntu, Mint, Fedora, Debian etc.

How so? Who's to say these people wouldn't just attack another minority group? Indian people for example.
