What are you passionate about that most people aren't? submitted by I_LIKE_MAPS to AskVoat

I am a firm believer that the mac and cheese with "shapes" noodles (Spongebob, How to Train Your Dragon characters, etc) tastes different than the mac and cheese with normal noodles.

I have literally ended a friendship over it because the person disagreed with me and IT'S A FACTUAL THING. Cheese distribution and texture and all that jazz. Can't be friends with someone totally irrational like that

Can we get some actual content instead of dozens "MRW Voat is down", or "MRW Voat is back up"?! submitted by motorvoating to AskVoat

Really? I'm struggling with it. The subvoats I like or whatever they're called aren't very popular.

What makes up most of your collection? Drugstore, mid-end or high-end? submitted by sugarbees to makeupaddiction

Mine is easily mostly drugstore (like 80%), but I'm slowly adding or swapping out drugstore for mid-end. In the past few weeks, I've added a Tarte finishing powder, and Hourglass blushes & powders. I've also gone back to using Dipbrow, which I LOVED and used for years, until I dyed my hair back to its original color and had to use the NYX Brow kit until I was able to pick up the correct Dipbrow shade.

A Sephora employee put their BB cream on me once (I was on vacation, and had never used foundation before, so they said this was as least-intimidating as it could be). I LOVED it, ordered it when I got home, but it didn't look as flawless as it did when the Sephora employee used it on me, so I returned it.

Knowing a bit more about makeup now, I probably just made some easy mistake--not blending well enough or not using enough to actually make a difference. If I tried it now, I'd probably love it just as much as I did that first day. So the only product I can sort-of vouch for is their BB cream.

I've heard good things about their blushes, and have been wanting to try them, but the Hourglass packaging is prettier, and I'm shallow, so.....

Just letting any Australians that maybe interested in polishes this is happening at Terry White (x-post Nailpolish) submitted by LemonANDGinger to makeupaddiction

I'm not an Australian, and am curious about the product above the nail polish--1000 hour eyebrow/eyelash tint. I've never heard of it--is that just the name, or do they actually market it as lasting for 1000 hours(41.66667 days)?
