Liars Behind Planned Parenthood Videos Linked To Antiabortionist Terror Group submitted by aftermossadeq to news

Even though they are tied to violence, which is absolutely wrong, I fail to see how that makes them liars. If the people at planned parenthood are doing illegal things that would make them wrong as well.

Study: Yes, Student Loans Are Making College More Expensive submitted by Imapopulistnow to news

Of course they do. Just like loans drive up housing and automobile costs. The same reasoning is behind insurance policies. Why do you think banking and insurance companies are the most profitable. Mix them with a political system that rewards cronies and viola - Murica.

Funny but True... submitted by usbportal to funny

I am getting ready to stay in a Ronald McDonald house. Which is only one of many ways corporations such as McDonald's help the communities they reside in. They provide jobs, a ladder to rise within their corporation, economic stimulus via taxes, plus all the other charitable contributions they make. The product they sell is fine when eaten in normal healthy servings. Even "supersizing" is acceptable so long as the person eating it is living a healthy lifestyle. So to say that McDonald's is responsible for the death of people who make bad health decisions is a pretty misguided attack. The people responsible for bad decisions are the people who make them.

You will NOT BELIEVE who was best man at John Kerry's daughter's wedding submitted by Joker68 to politics

Is it really surprising? Its all political showmanship. Unlike all the theatrics and fireworks that get shown to us on cspan I'm sure the dinners our representatives have together afterwards are quite pleasant.

What is your view on the freedom of choice? submitted by CamelBeard to AskVoat

Scrunch 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

Freedom is not necessarily a good thing. What is done with freedom makes it good or bad. Personal responsibility is what makes those who use freedom to its greatest advantages to be truly successful. That is not saying that people can not successfully abuse freedom as well. But what freedom is, of necessity due to abuse, is the only rational course. Someone is always on top, no matter what system is in place. Freedom, or liberty, is simply the only way to "level the playing field".
