How many people here prefer "night mode"? submitted by RiverOfWhiskey to AskVoat

It would be awesome for a voat page to load "night mode" by default with the option to switch.

Did the leap second take down Reddit again? submitted by monistowl to whatever

Same. Don't shame me too much people. I'm only there for a few of my niche subs that don't exist here yet. That being said, I should probably do something about that.

They are on similar yet separate paths. I'm sure people will always use reddit but it has definitely lost a decent number of users.

Should memes be a thing on Voat? submitted by 3R00T to AskVoat

I'm fine with that. If I want memes, I'll go back to reddit.

When a website is nearly un-usable due to piles of ads, it's no wonder people use ad blocking programs and extensions, or just avoid the website entirely. Nobody gets on the internet thinking, "Ooo let's see if there are any cute singles in my area!"

What really blows me away is that on my mobile, I can have a low / weak signal, which causes the site to take forever to load, but those ads are always the FIRST thing to load within 10 seconds. It's like they don't even need signal.
