The majority of protestors are high school or college-age kids. They haven't learned yet that protesting has never changed anything. It makes them feel like they are doing something important. But here is what happens when you get arrested. Now you have a criminal record, so any job you apply for that does a background check (and these will be jobs like healthcare field, teaching, government, law field, psychology, etc), you get flagged. Any state license that you need for certain career fields (lawyer, doctor, psychology, etc) you will likely not be able to get until you expunge your record and sometimes, not even then. Nobody tells these people things like this and then years down the road they are hit with a nightmare of hiring an attorney and paying high fees to get that record expunged. I have had friends that have gone through this and I asked them, would you protest now, knowing what you know? The answer is always no and that it was stupid to do it in the first place.

I'm okay with this as long as the money is used to fund the prison so law abiding tax payers' money doesn't have to be used. I think it is Japan or China where prisoners have to rely on their own family to support them in prison or they go hungry and unclothed. We should have that here, it might cut down on crime if the family is held responsible for the bills. Also, I have three family members who work in the prison system and personal visits agitate the prisoners (becuz if reminds them of what they are missing being locked up) and makes them more violent following the visits. That is why when someone is incarcerated, they try to place them in a prison far away from family so less visits, at least at the Federal level.

I think you are going to end up a very lonely person, if you're not already. I'm not saying that to be mean, but some girl must've really done a number on you. You seem so angry at the opposite sex.
