This is a good point. I mod a somewhat popular subreddit on reddit, and the person who did the CSS was also doing it for a ton of other subreddits besides just mine. I mainly came here because of the voting stuff, but now that I'm here I see a few things that I like better compared to reddit. The fact that you can't vote from a user's profile is a good idea, and I also like that you don't automatically upvote yourself every time you post. It still has a long way...

It sounds like you just have RES installed on Chrome. Upvote/Downvote counts were an RES feature, not a reddit feature. The numbers you saw on Chrome were still inaccurate, though.
