Holding his own umbrella submitted by Grumpy_Old_Man to whatever

Holding the umbrella yourself lets you center it over your head and gives you control if there is wind. Hence, it's the smarter thing to do.

Do you guys realize that any previous generation of Americans would have marched with their guns on Washington for things being this openly corrupt? America isn't America anymore. submitted by AndrewJacksonsGhost to politics

The current political conditions made me realize the disgusting habits I had, and really look past what I saw as average or acceptable. I've been working out regularly ever since. There's no excuse for someone under 21 like myself to be overweight even slightly.

German Government Wants Facebook to Censor Controversial Speech submitted by axolotl__peyotl to news

It really doesn't - the only violence promoted is in the old testament which is not followed by the religion. The teaching in the new testament is what is followed, which preaches love thy neighbor and the like.

They likely have preferences on their SSL/TLS cipher suite set to something more recent than what your versions of Chrome or Vivaldi recognize and have some of the older, less secure (and many times completely broken) versions turned off. I would recommend keeping both up to date, as cipher suites staying current is a pretty important aspect if you actually care about security/privacy. It is likely the biggest reason you don't want to be running Windows XP in 2017.

Here's a link to a test describing what I'm talking about.

This has nothing to do with Microsoft specifically, but the underlying framework of the protocol. Any dated OS would have this problem, including Android Gingerbread as the link states. Considering how reactionary you are, you're obviously too fucking retarded to understand the difference a broken cipher in SSL makes, so I'm not going to waste my time explaining it to you. I try to give you specific reasons, and you shit all over the place.
