Do you really need $800,000 to figure this out? Being healthy and taking care of yourself is more attractive...

How many of you folks are playing Fifth Edition? submitted by odinist to DnD

From my perspective 5e is way easier to play and manage along with the essential ability to mod or adjust as needed(from small numbers to homebrew races). I'd prefer that we keep all DND content to one sub however for ease of access. Perhaps some 5E tags are in order?

Why can a person have confusion about their gender but not about their race? Why is Jenner celebrated but Rachel Dolezal vilified? submitted by Mr_YUP to AskVoat

I'm maybe a bit biased as I personally am trans and pre transition/hormones/etc. When you think male people typically see Adams apple, voice, penis, facial hair, body hair, fitness level, and hobbies to an extent. When you think female you get a very similar list: smooth skin, lack of hair or reduced amount, longer hair, voice, emotional, fitness level, and hobbies. A lot of those things can totally be changed just by doing something like painting your nails as a guy, or being super into playing football as a girl. Those are sociatal expectations that can totally be changed.

Where you run into trouble is when a persons very body works against who they want to be. If a trans girl gets an erection then it's a really clear sign she isn't a girl sex wise. She can present female but if she doesn't have the body to back being a female then she really isn't as female as she could be.

By comparison I know a lot of conservative people who apply your thought process to liking the same sex. They just need to get over it and like the opposite gender. Afterall sex is enjoyable and so they'll like it if they'll just get over it. It's still debated if orientation is really genetic or environmental. If you wanted to be you then you'd have matching physical characteristics. That is where BIID is completely different; they want to remove characteristics–not change. If someone wanted a tattoo then we don't say they should just get used to normal skin and enjoy it. A personality can be entirely separate from a body and that's fine. Having physical characteristics that match mental characteristics however makes far more sense.

Getting back into tristana(haven't played her since the rework). Really enjoying her overall with the Q cool down being reduced by her E.

Still it is good that they are spreading the love around looking at the weaker champions. Aatrox is getting some additional buffs that are on the PBE currently iirc.

Can't stand the repetitive bullshit of reddit anymore. So hello! submitted by UnsureSherlock to introductions

I think putting some forms of restrictions on down voating is definitely required so as to prevent down vote brigades and the like. If up voats are readily encouraged and available then what we end up with is a bunch of high posts so what you are looking for is high numbers of up voats.

You will still end up with liked content at the top, but you get around the issue of content being buried by down volts.
