There is a continued sentiment that police officers are at war, and Boackle agrees. "You're only going to win a war if you have a good partnership, and right now the local police officers don't have that,'' he said. "The boots-on-the-ground officers across this country are at war, and if we do not have the help of citizens and local governments to stand behind us, we'll never win."
This is absolutely correct, police officers will continue to have a hard time if they do not have the publics respect, which is why they need to work hard to be worth such respect. Thats the part Boakle misses, respect is earned, not given.
Boackle said officers everywhere are hesitant, given the national climate. "There is a saying that 'he who hesitates is lost' and that's why (the detective) lost, because he hesitated,'' Boackle said. "If the officers on the streets were not in fear of losing their jobs, it wouldn't have gotten to the point it did yesterday. Officers are second-guessing every move because they're afraid they're going to be judged, by the media and by the public."
We are where we are not because an officer hesitated, but because officers refused to properly investigate other officers, for decades pretty much every shooting was justified, every beating was because the suspect resisted, and who were we to believe, the officer or the criminal? Now we have video, the impartial witness, and it shows officers blatantly violating law and abusing citizens and their rights, but when it does we see the police still havent changed their tune.
This fear of being judged is only novel because use of force wasnt given proper scrutiny in the past, now you reap the rewards, the people no longer believe you, the people no longer trust you, the people no longer respect you. The onus is now upon you to act in a way that is worthy of respect, to cease supporting the brotherhood over justice.

Sorry, not buying this one.
A dumb bitch got violent with someone who was capable of more violence, and he didnt draw his gun until the other bus passengers advanced on him, seems pretty legit. He might have gotten overly physical with her at the begining, I cant tell.
I wanna see the bus surveillance tapes, but I dont buy this one based on this video.
Dont plant your flag on this one, I badly want to see police reform but that doesnt make every use of violence by police worthy of protest, they do sometimes have to use it, and attacking every use of police violence is a good way to discredit the important cause of reforming the police.
Pick your battles, this isnt one.

How do you 'fire' a mayor?
Imagine all hell breaking loose if he would've looked at her and said " I didn't know we were serving coon tonight. "
You realize being a cop is a choice, right? Kinda like how jokes about lawyers are not the same as jokes about asians.
Here is a crazy idea, if you dont like the entire profession of police being insulted, start defending the profession from the assholes who make them all look bad. Throw out some bad apples if you dont like the whole barrel being viewed as bad.

The doctors don't say it. I got one a few months ago, no mention of why I now needed one, no mention of losing weight as a way to get off it. Indeed quite the opposite, they just pretend it's a condition you pretty much always had, and will always need. Something makes me think they get a kickback. I had to go online to get information about getting off of it, they straight up said it is permanent.
my bmi is shit but I am extra tall so it wasn't obvious til I ran the numbers. I am now on a mission to drop weight and get off the stupid thing. I plan to be smug af to the chub who acted like I couldn't get off the machine ever.
That said, the damned thing helps (helped?) me a ton, I can think far more clearly now.
Edit: question asked, question answered, answer downvoated, I guess you all would rather speculate in ignorance.

"underage" means what?
If your grandmother or great grandmother hit 18 and didn't have a husband and at least one child, she was an old maid. Of course gramps made a promise before he got to crawl under her dress, and her family got a say, and would help enforce it.
