A stab in the back | How EA lost its soul submitted by Beowolve to games

Magic_Apple_Donut 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

I don't know what EA is doing but I've been enjoying what they have been doing with the sims 4 lately. While yes there have been a lot of game / stuff packs released. They have also been releasing a lot of things for free which seem to have improved the game a bit. I just wish there was more honesty.

What is interesting is that on reddit (ugh..) and certain streams. Maxis / EA guys would be there to hear suggestions or listen to what people are saying about the game. Have they lost their soul? Yes. Are they trying to get it back? Maybe... Just maybe.

Hi guys, I am very into my graphic novels. Is this the right place? Or do they not count? If so what are your favourites/recommendations? submitted by Pegasus_Poo to books

If you like certain manga I can recommend some to you...

Museum of Horrors by Junji Ito is nice. Its like a collection of scary stories

Apollo's Song by Osamu Tezuka is damn good. Its a romance but.. well check it out and you'll get some ideas of what I mean. Lots of internal conflict.

Fun Home by Allison Bechel is a story about a girl coming out to her parents, and mostly her relationship with her father.

I hope this helped.

No problem. The manga is hit and miss. Junji Ito has some very scary illustrations so look out! :P

ELI5: What is fatpeoplehate submitted by SpiritofReason to ELI5

Magic_Apple_Donut 1 points -1 points (+0|-1) ago

Its a big hate box. The complete opposite of tumblr's hugbox. Basically they hate on one thing and while they might inspire a few people to lose weight and get healthy they can sometimes take it too far (causing emotional damage, doxxing people, etc.)

They basically hate fat people and while they pat themselves on being fit. A few pictures of their mods leaked when they were on reddit. At this point its the pot calling the kettle black.

Thats true. Is the fat acceptance movement still a thing? I know most people joke about it now.
