the source appears to be BetaArchive's FTP server

so far no sign of the leaked source, people on the BetaArchive forum are denying the leak (and taking it as free advertising for them)

EDIT: BetaArchive ADM said the Shared Source Kit folder did exist, but was removed (for review), and was 1.2 GB, not 32TB. (source) (archive)

maybe you can approach this the same way diaspora does, with distributed interconnected pods that users register to, and those are hosted independently by whomever wants to do so.
