What the fuck happened to Social Justice? submitted by Sir-Real to AskVoat

Kyuketsuki-sama 0 points 6 points (+6|-0) ago

Social Justice became an excuse to push authoritarian agendas on everybody, for the sake of a handful of people, and to bully the opposition. Social Justice Supporters began to lie and blur facts to have an excuse to continue fighting. Social Justice became a contest between the "oppressed" to be the most relevant group out there. Social Justice Warriors were over time revealed to be just truly scummy people, without any apparent self-awareness, sense of conscience, or kindness. SJWs on the internet, in order to be relevant, began making up stories, and didn't research the stories they shared. We could just keep going on.

[X-Post KIA] Poor SJW gets napalmed, "U R Mean" submitted by primalchaos to tumblrinaction

The problem is, I've seen this multiple times. They don't have any recourse, because on average SJWs aren't educated, they're indoctrinated. They're also taught to rely in "feelings" more than facts. Therefore, rare is the SJW that can have an intelligent, fact-based, logic-based conversation. Rather, they try to throw up strawmen and emotions, and when that fails, they shut down to hide from the real world.

So if Ellen Pao did step down after pressure from the petition, would any of you go back to reddit? Why or why not? submitted by Existential_Robot to random

Kyuketsuki-sama 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

I think that the damage is done, whether Ellen Pao stays or goes. The SJW culture has taken over Reddit, and I'm fairly certain that Ellen Pao could organize for someone she agrees with to take her place. I don't think Reddit is salvageable as a bastion of free speech, so, while I still check in from time to time there, at least until Voat gains full forward momentum, I don't think I'll ever return fully. Reddit has lost my trust, and that trust is very slowly regained. I would have to wait a year or two after the Chairman stepped down, to see what happens with Reddit, before even dividing my time more equally away from Voat.

An Older Album of my Steampunk Group, As Crows Fly submitted by Tekedo to steampunk

Cool! Was there a specific reason that you guys took so many shots in what appeared to be a Church? Or was it just sort of neat looking and so you went with it for effect?

Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup submitted by DickTwaddler to roguelikes

Probably one of my favorite "traditional" roguelikes I've ever played, I recommend it to anybody who hasn't tried it, particularly because there's no download technically necessary, because it can be played online. Tons of variety and many different options make this a fantastic game with plenty of replay value. And hey, it's free! :D
