Hmm, I wonder what...

Uh oh. This sounds seriou-
Clears sweat from brow.
EDIT: While we're waiting, what's everybody getting in the Steam sale? I made this list (shameless shilling lol) of seven underrated games worth picking up. I'm thinking about getting Crypt of the Necrodancer.

Black person here, I don't think reparations are a good idea at this point in time- it's too late for them to make a difference. Besides, I don't see a point blaming the people today for stuff that happened a hundred years ago. I'd much rather see the school system improved for kids all over the country, so that everybody has a good chance at honest work.
The pinnacle of bad game journalism? An article celebrating a rich kid using unpaid labor to make a video game- claiming his walking simulator is revolutionary for having a female protagonist. submitted by Jourdy288 to gaming

It gets worse.
They claimed that it was a walking simulator- in which you use clues to solve puzzles. That's not a walking simulator, that's an adventure game.

Hold up, are you saying that there have never been black people in Europe? It seems as though you're less interested in the integrity of the LotR canon and holding true to Tolkien's vision and more about keeping black people out of a video game, because they're somehow less believable to you than dragons.

This whole thing is stupid.
Frankly, sites have every right to call the game stupid or creepy or what have you. If the publisher chooses not to bring the game west for fear of being associated with it, then so be it- but throwing fits over it isn't going to help.
The whole thing strikes me as a marketing ploy. Nobody cared about DOAX3 until they heard that Koei wasn't publishing it in the west for fear of backlash- the whole debacle with Play-Asia was far too convenient, too.
It's all just marketing.
