It's quite surreal when the MSM, some of which strongly opposed GG and created a boogeyman around it, is starting to sound like KotakuInAction. This article is mostly a factual report about the events and does not explicitly endorse an opinion, but I think it's noteworthy to point out that GamerGate was used as a link/source (although, via Reason) without any value judegement and the usual "Game-dropping".

The NYTimes article somebody posted here goes in a similar direction. They don't mention GG, in fact the focus isn't even Gawker but mostly the changing attitude towards gays and the changing attitudes about how people react to sordid details of the private sex lives of others. The underlying tone of said article is condemning Gawker's modus operandi though and expressing a sort of glee at their diminishing (cultural) influence.

It would make sense, but it's simply not neccessary, because due to the reddit purge, a large number of users are of the type who see SJWs in every shadow and are the same type of overzaelous nutters as the typical power mods they fear so dearly.

Less reasoning and more overt, malicious racism please. The insecure failures here need a little boost in self-esteem. They need to take a "team" focused look at their life in order to distract from the failures they individually are.

I always find it funny when racists try to bring up the supposedly superior intellectual of whites, when they are the ones who are dragging it down.

I think I am banned from Fph for "fat sympathising", i don't see how these people are assumed to be the beacons of free speech, particularly considering their head trauma from crashing down the left side of the bell curve.

No she shouldn't. As far as I have seen the one post that was deleted was for rule breaking. The people witch hunting seem like overzealous whiners who ironically want to purge her because of her wrong-think.
